2 Cups long grain rice uncooked-( I prefer Uncle Ben’s)
2 cloves of garlic minced
2/3 cup butter
4-4.5 cups of beef broth
½-1 cup raisins
½ slivered almonds

Directions:
Directions:
In heavy skillet, sauté rice, and garlic in butter until rice turns orange. Remove from heat, add 4-4.5 cups beef broth. Cover with tight fitting lid or aluminum foil which fits securely around edge of skillet. Add more beef broth if needed after 30 minutes of cooking. Cook 45-50 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender. Remove from heat, uncover, sprinkle with raisins and almonds. Serve immediately.
