Notes: Vegetables can be added to taste. This stew typically creates a lot of liquid. About an hour before serving-check veggies for doneness. If a thicker gravy is preferred, remove about a cup of liquid, mix 1-2 tbsp.of cornstarch in a small amt.of cold water, stir into liquid and return to crockpot to thicken. For something more spicy-add tomatoes with jalapeņos-Although this contains tomatoes-Mike loves it!
