Brown Sugar Cookies Recipe

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. ground nuts
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter

1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. cream
1 c. powdered sugar

Cream sugars and egg; add butter and vanilla. Add rest, chill for 20 minutes. Form into balls the size of quarters. Roll in sugar then flatten. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 for 10-12 minutes.

In saucepan, heat brown sugar and cream, stirring constantly. Blend in powdered sugar.
