1/2 Cup butter
1/2 Cup Shortening
1 Cup Powder Sugar
1 egg
11/2 tsp. almond flavoring
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
21/2 cups Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together then add flour. Mix then divide the dough and add red food coloring to half the dough. twist some of both colors of dough. Shape into a candy cane. Bake at 350 for 8 minutes. I always double this recipe.
