2 packages dry yeast
1/2 cup warm water
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup oleo
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg
3-1/4 cup flour

TOPPING:
3/4 cup oleo
1 tablespoon light corn syrup (or dark)
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon water
3/4 cup nuts
cinnamon/sugar mixture

Directions:

Mix dry yeast and warm water; set aside. In medium size sauce pan combine milk, oleo, sugar and salt. Heat until warm, stirring constantly. Pour into yeast mixture. Mix well and add egg and flour. Beat well, scrape down batter from sides of bowl and let rise in warm place, covered, for 30 minutes. When dough is rising combine topping ingredients in sauce pan. Cook over low heat until oleo melts, then pour into 13x9 pan. Now stir down batter after the 30 minutes and drop by tablespoons over the topping. Cover and let rise 30 minutes. Brush top with oleo and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 350º for 25-30 minutes. Let set for a few minutes. Invert onto wax paper.
