1 1/4 c. butter
2 eggs
2 cups sugar
1/2 - 3/4 cup almond paste
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix butter, eggs, sugar, and almond paste (it sometimes works best to warm your almond paste a little in the microwave... use a low power so you don't cook it!).
2. Add flour and baking powder
3. Mix and pour into 2 greased, floured pie or tart pans (optional -- glaze with a beaten egg)
4. Bake at 325º for 35 minutes.
