1 pound round steak
1 tsp seasoned meat tenderizer
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 cup water
1 (10 3/4 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
2 medium onions, sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Cut the steak into serving-size pieces. Combine the meat tenderizer, flour, and pepper. Dredge the steak in the flour mixture. Heat the oil in a heavy skillet (one inch deep to cover the steak). Place the steak pieces in hot oil; brown on both sides. Remove the steak from the oil. Pour off the oil from the skillet. To the skillet add the water, soup, and onions and stir to blend. Add the steak, cover, and simmer over low heat for one hour. More water may be added, if needed.
