1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 cup margarine
2 eggs
1 T. grated orange peel
1 t. vanilla
3 cups flour
2 t. baking powder
1 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt
3/4 cup buttermilk

Orange Icing:
1 T. grated orange peel
3 T. orange juice
3 T. butter
Combine the above and then add
3 cups powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and margarine; add eggs, orange peel and vanilla. Beat til fluffy. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to cream mixture alternating with buttermilk, beating after each addition. Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. While warm frost with orange icing.
