1 lb. ground beef (or buffalo)
1 medium onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 (14 oz) cans tomatoes with the juice
1 can rotel tomatoes
2-3 cans of kidney beans (optional)
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
2 T. chili powder
1 1/2 T. cocoa
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/4 t. allspice

Brown ground beef, onion and garlic. Drain and put in crock pot. Add the rest of the ingredients and cook on low for 8 hours. Serve over noodles with chopped onion, sour cream, shredded cheese and tortilla chips.

Personal Notes:
The spices in this sound unusual, but they are delicious. If I'm only serving adults, I add another can of the spicy rotel tomatoes, Tobasco sauce and/or cayenne pepper to make it more spicy. The beans are optional, but I like to use them because it makes the chili serve more without using more meat (economical and healthy).
