3 cups sifted flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup oil
3 cups sugar
1 can pumpkin
1 tsp vanilla
3 eggs
1 cup pecans, chopped

Directions:

Sift together all dry ingredients. Set aside. In large mixing bowl, combine all remaining ingredients. Slowly fold in dry ingredients. Pour into 2 large or 6 small, greased and floured loaf pans. Bake at 350º for 50 – 60 minutes. Allow to cool 15 minutes. Remove from pan.
