1 28 oz. can diced tomatoes (not packed in puree or sauce)
2 garlic cloves, peeled & chopped
3 T. extra virgin olive oil
2 T. coarsely chopped fresh basil
1/4 t. sugar
1 1/2 t. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat saute pan on med. high. Add olive oil, then garlic. Cook approx. 2 minutes, until fragrant but not brown. Stir in tomatoes; simmer until thickened slightly, approx. 10 minutes. Stir in basil, sugar & salt and cook, stirring constantly for one minute. Serve over pasta.
