1 cup flour 1/4 cup cocoa 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 3 cups uncooked rolled oats 1 cup butter 1 teaspoon vanilla 1-1/2 cup sugar 1 egg, well beaten 1/4 cup water
Sift together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Cream together butter and vanilla. Add sugar gradually, creaming until fluffy. Add in egg and water. Add dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Add oats gradually blending. Bake at 350º for 12-15 minutes.
