3 C. sugar
1 1/2 C. butter
6 eggs
1 1/2 C. milk
3 C. flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 C. cocoa
2 C. walnuts (optional)
3 tsp. vanilla

Icing:
1/2 C. brown sugar
2 T. cocoa
1/4 C. water
3 T. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar and butter. Then mix together eggs and milk and add to creamed sugar&butter. Mix together flour, salt, cocoa, walnuts & vanilla. Add to the wet ingredients. Bake on large cookie sheet for 30 minutes at 350 º.

Icing: Boil together br. sugar, cocoa and water, then add butter and vanilla. Add enough pd. sugar to make frosting texture (use electric mixer).
