1/2 c. Crisco
1-1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. mashed bananas (usually 3 bananas)
1/4 c. buttermilk (place 1 T. vinegar in 1/4 c. measure. Add milk to make 1/4 c. Let it set for a few minutes. This will be your buttermilk)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 T. soda
2-1/4 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix Crisco and sugar. Add eggs. Stir in bananas and buttermilk. Add dry ingredients. Mix well. Bake @ 350 for 30-45 minutes (depending on oven and pans used). I use 1 big loaf pan or a small loaves pan that makes 9 small individual loaves. The small loaves require less time in the oven.
