3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ginger

1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1and 1/2 cups pumpkin, drained
1 cup evaporated milk
2 eggs, beaten (Keep out a little of the egg to sprinkle on top of pie)

Directions:
Directions:
Make a 9" pie shell.
Combine brown sugar and spices: Add remaining ingredients. Mix until smooth.
Pour into pastry shell and bake in a hot oven (425°) for about 35 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
Note: don't forget to drizzle on the egg you saved. I also sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg on the top. Another important point is that I use fresh pumpkin. My pie does not come out well with canned pumpkin.
