1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp. salt
24 whole, blanched almonds

Glaze:
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 to 3 tsp. water

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Mix brown sugar, butter, and vanilla. Work in flour, cinnamon, and salt until dough holds together. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 12-14 minutes. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar and enough water to make paste. Lace or pipe on baked cookies.
