2/3 c. butter
1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
2 T. grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. basil leaves
1 tsp. oregano leaves
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. salt
2 chicken breasts, split (about 1 1/2 lbs.)
1/4 c. dry white wine or apple juice
1/4 c. chopped green onion
1/4 c. chopped parsley

Preheat oven to 375º. In heavy saucepan, melt butter. Meanwhile, on a piece of wax paper, combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, basil, oregano, garlic salt and salt. Dip chicken in butter, then roll in crumbs to coat. Place skin side up in ungreased pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until golden brown and chicken is tender. Meanwhile, add wine, green onion and parsley to remaining melted butter. When chicken is golden brown, pour butter sauce mixture around and over. Return to oven for 3-5 minutes more or just until sauce is hot. Serve with sauce spooned over.
