6 lg. green peppers
1 lb. ground beef, browned
2 T. minced onion
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
2 c. cooked rice
15 oz. can tomato sauce
3/4 c. shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Wash peppers and cut off tops(like carving a pumpkin) remove seeds and discard tops.
Combine all ingredients except peppers and cheese.
Stuff peppers with ground beef mixture, place in slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low 6-8 hrs. or high 3-4 hrs. sprinkle with cheese last remaining 30 minutes.

in recipes calling for rice, don't use minute or quick cooking rice. long cook rice is much better and has tons of flavor and stand up well in the long cooking process and will not break apart like the faster cooking rice.
