1/2 c. sugar
water

Directions:
Directions:
Do not allow the pears to become too ripe. Peel and put into water until you have enough to fill the jar. Add sugar. Add lids and rings that have been boiling onto clean rims. Cook at a full rolling boil or 25 minutes.
