1/2 c sugar
1/4 & 1 tsp water
cook together 4-5 mins until caramel colored - watch this can go dark quickly - spoon in ramekins or casserole dish

2 cups milk
1/2 cream (or 2 1/2 c milk)
3/4 c white sugar
cook over medium heat and bring to boil

take off heat (beat 2 eggs and 1 egg yolk with a 1tsp vanilla)
Mix into milk mixture

Pour into ramekins or carrerole dish with carmetl and bake resting in a water bath (ie: place on cookie sheet filled with water)

Bake 325 - 40 mins
