3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 egg
2 c. flour
2 1/2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
2-3 ripe bananas
1 c. nuts (optional)

TOPPING MIXTURE
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1/3 c. flour
1/4 t. cinnamon
1/4 t. nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease bread pan. Mix sugar, butter and egg. Sift together dry ingredients and add alternating with milk. Fold in bananas. Fill bread pan 2/3 full. Sprinkle topping on. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Start checkly it after 45 minutes so it doesn't burn.

Can substitute 2 c. blueberries for bananas.
Can use muffin tins instead of bread pan. Bake muffins for 20 minutes.
