2 T olive oil 5 medium onions, sliced
1/2 # mushrooms 1 t salt
1/4 t marj 1/8 t pepper
1/4 t thyme 3/4 c beef broth
1 1/2 c burgundy 1 1/2 T flour
2 # boneless beef cut into1"cubes

Directions:
Directions:
1. Saute onions and mushrooms in olive oil. Remove
vegetables and brown beef adding more oil if
necessary. Sprinkle herbs over meat.
2. Mix flour and broth and a to meat. Bring to boil and
cook stirring for one minute. Blend in wine.
3. Replace vegetables, cover and cook 1 1/2 -2 hours.
If needed add more liquid.
(1 part broth to 2 of wine)
