1. Cook potatos whole. Cool
2. Dice bacon and fry until brown. Remove bacon
from dripping's and set aside.
3. Add flour to drippings and mix well, then add
vinegar, sugar and water. Cook over medium heat
4. Assemble in bowl in alternating layers:
Potatos, bacon, onion, salt and pepper and sauce.
Repeat layers. Stir lightly. Serve warmed or cold.
