1 small 8 oz. pie shell
2 1/4 lbs (about 5 small Delicious)
6 oz can undiluted defrosted unsweetened apple juice (Tree Top)
2 Tbs cornstarch
1 1/2 tsp apple pie spice (or 2 tsp cinnamon, pinch nutmeg, pinch allspice)
2 T. butter
1 tst grated lemond rind
2/3 c. raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Place sliced apples in greased pie plate. Mix other ingredients and add; add top crust. Put slits in crust for steam. If you want, you could use a bottom crust in the pie plate; Aunt Mary Lou did not. Bake at 450º for 10 minutes. Lower temp. to 325º and bake 30-40 minutes, until crust is brown.
