2 lbs medium shrimp 1 12 oz can beer 1 cup flour 1 TBS salt 1 TBS paprika Cayenne pepper to taste
Shell and wash shrimp. Pour beer into a mixing bowl. Sift dry ingredients into the beer and beat with a wire whisk until frothy. While using, whish lightly from time to time. Batter may be used immediately or store in the refrigerator several days. This is also a great light crisp batter for frying vegetables, chicken or game.
