1/2 cup Shortening (softened)
2 sticks Butter
3 cups Sugar
6 Eggs (room temperature)
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Almond Flavoring
1 cup Buttermilk
1/2 tsp Vanilla Flavoring
1/2 tsp. Yellow Food Coloring
1/2 tsp. Almond Extract

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the shortening,butter and sugar until creamy. add 1 egg at a time. Sift together flour and baking powder and soda. Add flour mixture to this alternating with buttermilk. Finally add your flavoring and yellow food coloring. Pour mixture into a greased and Floured bundt pan. Place in a Cold Oven baking at 325º for about 1 and 1/2 hours... until done. Let stand for 20 minutes before turning out.
