9 lasagne noodles
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onion
1- 6 oz. can tomato paste
1- 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1- 4 oz. can mushrooms in juice
1 tsp. sweet basil
1 tsp parsley flakes
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 c. water
1 sm. carton cottage cheese
1 sm pkg. grated mozzarella cheese
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Cook noodles. Brown meat with onions. Add rest except noodles, cottage cheese and mozzarella cheese. Simmer 1 hour. In a 9x13' pan, put small amount of sauce in bottom. Alternate layers- sauce, 3 noodles, cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, etc. making 3 layers. Over top add 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese. Do not cover. Bake for 45 minutes at 350. Let stand 15 minutes before cutting.
