1/3 c chopped onion 1/3 c butter
1/8 c flour 2 c cooked chicken
1 10 oz can chicken broth 1/3 c pimento
1 5 oz can evaporated milk 1/4 t salt
1 c cooked wild rice 1/2 t pepper
1 c cooked mushrooms 1/2 c chopped celery
1/3 c slivered onions, toasted

1. Saute onions and celery in butter then add flour.
2. Add chicken broth and stir well.
3. Add milk and stir until thickened.
4. Add rice, mushrooms, chicken, pimento, salt and
pepper. Blend thoroughly and place in casserole.
5. Sprinkle almonds over to and bake at 350 for
25-30 minutes.
