2 c brown sugar 1c shortening
2 eggs 1 t baking soda
1 t cream of tartar 1 t vanilla
3-4 c flour 1/2 t salt
1/2 c coconut 1 c chopped nuts
1 c butterscotch chips

1. Cream together brown sugar and shortening, then
add eggs and vanilla.
2. Mix together cream of tartar, salt, baking soda and
3 c flour and add to wet mixture. Add more flour as
needed to make dough of drop cookie consistency.
3. Add butterscotch chips and nuts. Drop in walnut
size pieces on cookie sheets.
4. Make a glaze of 3 T sugar with 1 T water. Mix
together until sugar dissolved. Brush on cookies
before baking. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
