1 can (8oz) Pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1-container (8oz.) chives and onion cream cheese spread
1 t. milk
¾ medium red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
½ c. broccoli, finely chopped
1 T. diced cucumber, peeled
Cherry tomatoes cut in half
Shredded cheddar cheese

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Remove dough from can in one long roll. Don’t unroll or separate! Cut roll into 16 slices. Place slices; cut side down, on ungreased cookie sheet. To form tree, start by placing 1 slice for top: arrange 2 slices just below, with sides touching. Continue arranging a row of 3 slices, then a row of 4 slices, ending with a roll of 5 slices. Use the remaining slice for tree trunk. Bake 11-13 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 1 minute; carefully loosen from cookie sheet with spatula and slide onto wire rack. Cool completely, about 15 minutes. Place tree on a decorative Christmas platter. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese spread and milk until smooth. Spread mixture over baked tree. Decorate tree with veggies. Use the red pepper strips for garland. Place the cherry tomatoes on the tree cut side down for Christmas balls. Place other remaining veggies on tree. Sprinkle lightly with cheese. Serve immediately, or cover loosely and bring to a Christmas party. Refrigerate.
