2 c flour 2/3 c butter
1 c brown sugar 1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 c butter 1 c chocolate chips
1 c pecan halves

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine flour with 1/2 c soft butter and mix until
they form fine crumbs. Pat firmly into ungreased
9x13 pan. Sprinkle pecans on top.
2. Combine 2/3 c butter and brown sugar in heavy
saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring
constantly until it begins to boil. Pour evenly over
crust. Bake at 350º for 18-22 minutes, until caramel
layer is bubbly.
3. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with
chocolate chips. Return to oven 3-4 minutes to melt
chips. Swirl chips in caramel. Do not spread. Cool
completely and cut into squares.
