4 T butter 5 T flour 1 c chicken broth 1 1/2 c evaporated milk 1 t salt 3 c cooked rice 1/4 s pimento chopped 1/3 c gr pepper 3/4 c mushrooms, cooked 1/2 c slivered almonds 1 1/2 c cooked chicken diced
1. Melt butter, add flour and blend. Add broth, milk and salt. Cook over low heat until thick. 2. Alternate layers of rice. chicken and salt in buttered casserole. 3. Pour sauce over layers and bake at 350 for 30 min.
