Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 envelope of yeast-mix with 1/4 c of warm milk
4 c flour
1/4 c sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 sticks of Butter
2 eggs
1 c milk
sugar and cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix yeast with warm milk and set aside.
Combine flour, sugar, salt and cut butter into this with fork or pastry cutter until it becomes coarse crumb mixture (similar to making a pie crust).

Combine the eggs, milk and yeast mixture.
Add this to the flour/butter mixture. Mix with a spoon until all flour is into mixture. The dough will be sticky. Place in refrigerator 8 hours or overnight. The dough is not left out to rise.

Divide into two large pieces. Roll out 1 dough onto floured surface with well floured rolling pin. Roll out to 12 x 18" rectangle. You may need to add a bit of flour to dough as you roll it out if it is too sticky.
Add sugar/cinnamon mixture to dough liberally.
Roll up like cinnamon rolls. Cut 1" pieces with string. Place 1" roll in cinn/sugar bowl and coat well. Place on slightly greased cookie sheet and flatten with your palm (I put sugar on my hand if it sticks to roll). I could only fit 2 Crispies per cookie sheet. Bake at 400 for 10-12 minutes. Remove each Crispie from cookie sheet right after it comes out of the oven and cool on wire rack.

This is another version I have of grandma's Crispies. There were no directions on how she prepared them. They are delicious but take some time to to get them just right..Good Luck!
