2 C Sugar
1 1/2 C light corn syrup
1/2 C butter
2 C whipping cream, divided
2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In large saucepan mix sugar, light corn syrup, butter, whipping cream. Cook and stir until mixture boils vigorously for several minutes. Drizzle in the additional 1 cup of whipping cream, dripping it so slowly that mixture does not stop boiling. Cook until a fairly hard ball forms in cold water, or mixture reaches 235-240 degrees on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat and beat in vanilla. Pour into buttered 9 inch square pan. Let cool completely, then cut in squares and wrap in aluminum foil.
