Ingredients: ¾ cup granulated sugar 1 cup all-purpose flour 3 tablespoons cocoa 2 teaspoons baking powder ¼ teaspoon salt ½ cup milk 1/3 cup melted butter or margarine 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract ___later___________½ cup granulated sugar 1 ½ cups packed light brown sugar 4 tablespoons cocoa __later_____1 1/4 cups hot water

Directions:Mix first 8 ingredients together till smooth.Pour batter into an 8 or 9 inch square pan. In small bowl combine: ½ cup granulated sugar 1 ½ cups packed light brown sugar 4 tablespoons cocoa Sprinkle mixture evenly over the batter. Pour 1 1/4 cups hot water over top. Do not stir. Bake 35 – 40 min. at 350 or until center is almost set. Let stand 15 min. Spoon into dessert dishes, spooning sauce from the bottom of pan over top.Garnish with whipped cream, cool whip, or ice cream. |
