2 lbs ground sausage
3 eggs
6 pieces of white bread, no crust
1 tsp Whisterchire Sauce
1 tbsp mustard
8-16 pieces of Swiss cheese – no holes
¾ cup of half-and-half
1 ¼ cup milk
8 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp salt
Dash of nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Brown and drain sausage. Mix mustard with sausage. Line bottom of 9”x13" baking pan with one layer of white bread. Cover with sausage mixture. Cover with one or two layers of Swiss cheese.
In separate bowl, beat eggs. Mix in remainder of ingredients. Pour mixture over cheese.
For best results, let sit overnight in refrigerator.
Bake for 30 minutes at 350º F.

This was the casserole Jeff's family made for Christmas morning when he was growing up. It became a (Lamar) Yarbrough family tradition for Jeff to make this for the family to have at our home on Christmas morning while watching the grandkid's Santa Clause excitement.
