2 c. flour
2 tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp.baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 c. chocolate chips ( I use one pkg of chocolate chunks)
3/4 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. white sugar
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla
You can add nuts if you want to

Preheat oven to 350 - In a medium bowl, using a fork, stir
flour with cornstarch, baking soda and salt unitl evenly mixed.
Place butter in a large bowl. Using an electric mixer, beat until
smooth about 1 minute. Then beat in brown and white sugars
until fluffy, about 2 minutes. Beat in egg and vanilla. Using a
spoon, stir in flour mixture and chocolate chips until evenly

Lightly spray a baking sheet. Scoop out about 2 T. cookie
dough and place on sheet. (I roll them so they're all the same
size, approximately). Don't press down.

Bake in center of oven until cookies are golden around the
edges (8-10) minutes. Let cookies stand on sheet for approx.
2 minutes.
