8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 pkg (8 oz) Monteray Jack cheese, grated
2 T olive oil 1 clove garlic, minced
1 med onion, minced 2 t oregano
2 t chili powder 1 t ground cumin
1/8 t cayanne pepper 1/2 t salt
1/2 t pepper 2 # ground beef
Tomato slices Black bread

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine cheeses and mix until well blended. Divide
into 6 portions and shape into 3 " round patties.
Place between sheets of waxed paper and
refrigerate until firm.
2. Saute onion and garlic in oil until limp. Remove from
heat and add spices. Add this to beef and mix until
well blended. Shape into 12 patties.
3. Put 1 cheese patty between 2 beef parries and seal
edges firmly.
4. Grill 5-7 minutes each side.
5. Serve on toasted black bread with tomato slices.
