2 sm heads lettuce 1 lg red onion, sliced thin
1/2 # bacon, diced and browned
2 sm cans mandarin oranges
1 pkg slivered almonds, browned
1/3 c sugar 2 1/2 T vinegar
1/2 t grated onion 1/2 T lemon juice
2 1/2 T honey 1/2 t dry mustard
1/2 t paprika 1/2 t celery seed
1/2 t salt 1/2 c olive oil

1. Combine all dressing ingredients, except oil, and
heat in saucepan, only until sugar is dissolved.
Add oil, shake well and cool.
2. Arrange salad ingredients in bowl. Toss salad with
dressing just before serving.
