1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
2 eggs
2 T. orange peel, grated
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 c. orange juice
2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 oz. semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375.

Beat sugar and butter on high speed until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add orange peel. Beat in sour cream and orange juice until well blended.

Mix flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda in a separate bowl, then add to wet mixture. Fold in chocolate bits. Line muffin tins with papers and fill 2/3rds full. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes.
