- 1 - 8oz - cream cheese - softened
- 1 cup - icing sugar
- 3/4 cup - butter
- 1/2 tsp - vanilla
- 2 cups - all pupose flour
- 1/2 tsp - baking soda
- 1 cup - pecans - ground or chopped very fine
- 1 tsp - cinnamon
- icing sugar for dredging

* optional 2 squares semi sweet bakers chocolate melted, for dipping

Preheat oven 325º F

- beat cream cheese, sugar, butter, vanilla with electric mixer, or stage mixer till smooth
- add flour, baking soda, mix
- add pecans, cinnamon, mix till just combined
- cover bowl, refrigerate 1 hour
- shape tablespoonfuls of dough into crescent shapes
- place inch apart on ungreased baking sheets
- bake 20 minutes till edges are golden
- cool on pan for 1 minute
- cool completely
- roll cookies icing sugar till coated
* optional dip ends of cookie in chocolate, set back on cooling rack till chocolate sets
- tender cookie don't pack to tightly to store airtight container, can be frozen
