1 cup flour 1/4 tsp soda 2 tsp. baking powder 3/4 tsp salt 1/3 cup shortening 1 cup of sour dough starter (see recipe)
Mix dry ingredients with shortening, add starter. Knead, roll and cut into biscuits. Put on ungreased cookie sheet. Let rise for at least 1 hour..2 hours is better. Bake at 400 degrees for ten minutes.
