9 eggs
10 c flour
pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla or anise flavor & seeds
1 3/4 c sugar
1 c butter
4 pks dry yeast in 1 c warm water w/ 1 tsp sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs and sugar 3 minutes. Melt butter and cool. When cool, add to egg mixture. Add a few cups of flour and beat until smooth. Add yeast mixture and hand beat. Add flavoring and mix well. Add remainder of flour and salt. Dough will be firm. Roll into long ropes and braid 3 at a time and form braid into a circle. Brush with egg glaze.
Let rise 9 hours!
Bake at 300-325º (depending on your oven) approximately 25-28 minutes or until lightly browned. You may add raisens instead of anise seeds, if using vanilla.
