1 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 to 3/4 tsp Baking Powder
1 1/2 Tbsp Crisco
1/2 c water or milk

1 egg (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cut Crisco into flour, baking powder and salt. When mixed well, add water or milk and mix into dough. (Aunt Anita does not usually use egg!)

Roll out into oblong rectangle about 1/8 to 1/4 # thick. Cut into 2" squares and drop into boiling broth. Cook about 12-15 minutes or until done.
