- 5 - quart sealer jars
- cucumbers - fresh, small pickling type
- fresh dill
- 1 pint - vinegar
- 1 cup - pickling salt
- 2 1/4 cups - water

Directions:
Directions:
- fill each sealer jar with the fresh cucumbers
- place a large piece of dill in each jar
- in a large pot place the vinegar, water, salt
- heat to dissolve salt, do not boil
- while brine is still hot fill each jar till the cucumbers are covered
- seal jars when cool
- turn upside down for a few minutes to check for leaks
- store in a cool dry place for 4 - 6 weeks before eating
