Directions:In a large mixing bowl combine 2 1/2 cups flour, yeast, sugar and salt. Add the oil and warm water and mix well. If dough is too sticky, add a little flour. Turn dough onto a a floured board or counter. Be careful not to use too much flour. Knead the dough for about 8 min. or until the dough is smooth and elastic. You can either A) spread dough in pizza pan right away and continue adding your pizza favorites(toppings) OR B) place dough in plastic bag along with 1t. of oil. This will prevent the dough from sticking to the bag. Place in fridge and use when you are ready. Preheat oven to 425'. Bake for about 15-17 min. or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Edges of crust should be lightly browned. Remove form oven and allow to stand about 5 min before slicing and eating. |
