1 cup butter or margarine (1/2 butter for me)
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
3 cups sifted flour
2 eggs
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp.soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 cup sour milk or buttermilk

Directions:
Combine first 4 ingredients to crumbly mixture. Reserve 1 cup for crumb topping, To remaining mixture add eggs and beat well. Mix 1/2 cup flour with other dry ingredients, and add alternately with buttermilk.
Bake in 13 x 9 pan or 2-8" square pans. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Bake at 350 about 35 min.

This is good warm or cooled, as dessert or coffee cake. Great to take in large throw away pan to a grieving family. Ingredients are always on hand in most kitchens.
