5 medium baked potatoes
6 slices bacon
1 bunch chopped green onions
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery seed
dash pepper
3/4 c. water
1/3 c. red wine vinegar
1 bell pepper chopped

Potatoes should microwave until almost done. Cube potatoes with skins place in bowl. In a large skillet, fry bacon until crisp and set bacon side. Stir flour, sugar, salt, celery seed, and pepper into drippings. Remove from heat stir in water and vinegar. Heat to boiling stirring constantly until thickened. Crumble bacon and add onions & bell pepper to potatoes. Pour mixture over potatoes, stir lightly and serve warm.

This is my great grandma Hartwigs recipe. She came over from Germany as a child and I remember her making this in the kitchen at the farm in up state New York.
