1 lb. lean ground beef or turkey
1 medium onion chopped fine
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
tomato juice
salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp. chili powder
1 or 2 cans (15 oz.) dark red kidney beans

Directions:
Directions:
Crumble and brown meat. Add chopped onions and green pepper. Saute until tender. Add enough tomato juice to cover well. Add kidney beans, salt, pepper, and chili powder. Simmer until beans are tender and sauce thickens.
