Ingredients:  
2 to 3 cans of baked beans in tomato sauce
garlic, onion, red chilli powder, salt to taste
1 can of water
green chilies or jalapeņo to taste (optional)
Dumplings:
3 tbsp cornmeal
4 tbsp flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 3/4 tsp baking powder
2 egg whites
3-4 tbsp milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients for dumplings in a bowl. Add enough milk to get a dropping consistency. For tex mex beans, add all ingredients in frying pan and bring to boil. When the mixture starts boiling add the dumpling batter to the pan, 1 tsp at a time, to get about 12 dumplings. Cover with a lid. Boil on medium heat undisturbed for 8 to 10 minute or till dumplings get cooked.
